Sponges and dish scrubbies! What are they good for? 

The same sponge that you use to wash your dishes is actually a brilliant tool for creating art. You can use the fluffy side it to create texture or plants and bushes. You can use the scratchy side to create rocks and mountains. It naturally creates sharp and rocky shapes.

Many spray painters and artists have not yet explored the wonders of the dish scrubby. Not only does this tool apply your paint in a unique way that reminds me of ancient Chinese landscape styles, but it also scratches into the surface of your canvas or paper creating some secret effects that are only visible if you remove most of the paint.
