This common sewing tool which is used for removing stitches is great for creating sharp lines that press into paper or gesso. The paint sinks in making lines that are clearer than any brushwork could be. Use this for outlining portraits, illustration or anytime you want a super sharp line. This year we are using it for making trees with intricate bark.
