Blue is the color of calm, cool, and communication. When the world seems hot and overwhelming, a little bit of blue can bring relief.

Painting blue universes and galaxies give me the sense of a living loving universe somewhere out there, or in there, in space. Blue looks beautiful in all kinds of space paintings and is a natural shading color for planets.

When you become aware of the psychological effects of color, you have another tool that you can use to create artwork that people will love to put in their homes and spaces because they find it healing.
