I want to share a pic from the lessons I have been filming for you. I’ve been thinking quite a bit about what makes a painting attractive to galleries and buyers. One thing I notice is the use of texture.
So, one of the things I’m experimenting with is adding texture using gesso.
Can you see the texture in the sky, neck and hair? That was done with gesso, sandpaper, and spray paint. I’m looking forward to sharing the technique with you soon!-Alisa
